Daily devotional - Alex on Faith

Daily devotional for 6 November 2017 – 1 John 3:2

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to meditate with you on the words from 1 John 3:2 (NIV):

2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

When you are a Christian, you should not think that you will have all the answers and knowledge. Only God has this. But know that God has an exact plan for your life and if you trust Him that you will see that it will be a blessing (even the parts in your life that were hard, will make sense later on, because God uses everything for His plan with your your life)

YouTube – Alex on Faith

Dear brothers and sisters,

I have been blogging on WordPress for quite a while now and I see how God is truly blessing me and others through this channel.

I was afraid to make the step to YouTube earlier, because I find it really confronting to see myself on video, but God really used especially my wife to stop letting the devil stop me from broadening my ministry and to not let any excuse of the devil stop me from doing Gods work.

So from today I want to proudly announce that I also have started to post vlogs on my YouTube-channel: Alex on Faith on YouTube

Please come take a look and let me know what you think of it. I am open to all positive feedback how to improve my channel as I am still learning to get comfortable being in front of the camera. So bear with me in my growth to let me and my YouTube-channel become more and more professional 🙂

God bless you all!

Bible study on the Epistle to the Romans – Introduction

Bible study on the Epistle to the Romans – Introduction

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I am starting the Bible study on the Epistle to the Romans

My introduction

I feel very blessed that God has asked me to go through the Bible book by book and that together we have already come to the book of Romans. I pray that God will truly guide us through this book and teach us all that He wants to teach us.

Background and setting

This epistle was written by Paul. On the internet you will find that there is supposed to be some controversy on the writer of this book, but I see the Bible as the only source on this and the Bible makes it very clear that it was Paul that wrote this book.

He wrote this epistle to the Christians living in city of Rome. At that moment of time Rome was the center of the Roman empire and was very etnically diverse. It was estimated that around 1 million people were living there of which approximately 40-50 thousand were Jews.

It is expected that the Roman church started by Christians/Jews that were present at Pentecost and at some point found their way to Rome.

Audience

The apostle identifies his recipients in 1:7 by saying: To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints. His intent was for the Christians in all of Rome to read the epistle. It also seems that there were multiple churches in the Empire’s capital because there is made mention of an additional church in the home of Priscilla and Aquila (Rom 16:5).

Purpose

Paul wrote this epistle so that they would know the gospel of Christ. He also wanted to inform the church regarding his future plans because those plans would involve them. At the time of writing the epistle, Paul was about to take the offering that he had collected from various churches to the poverty stricken church in Jerusalem. After that, he intended on going to visit the Roman church for a time to preach the Gospel to them.

God bless you all!

Alex on Faith

Dear brothers and sisters,

Since almost 2 years I have been blessed to work on this blog. Since that time I have seen this blog grow bigger and bigger. I also pray that God will bless me with this ministry through this blog, so I can reach people to learn about the word of God and also to see the satanic and illuminati influence that is here in this world.

It will be really appreciated if God gives it on your heart to support my ministry by becoming a guest blogger, to receive gifts (to start making this blog and ministry better, like having a subscription on WordPress, or any other way that God gives it on your heart to support my ministry).

Please feel free to contact me if you have any way to support me.

God bless!

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

Amen! What a powerful praise this is. Our lifes our not just coincidence as God already choose us before we were born, even before earth was created. Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 11 February 2016 – Galatians 6:2-3

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Galatians 6:2-3 (NIV):

2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.

God loves it and wants us to be humble. Don’t ever think more highly of yourself, then is justified. Even everything you have had success with in your life is through Jesus and not your own strength! Also God wants us to be there for each other. As Jesus took our burden at the cross to die for our sins, so He wants us to also be open to the burden of others and help each other out!

Amen!

Daily word for 3 February 2016 – Hebrews 10:19-22

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Hebrews 10:19-22 (NIV):

A Call to Persevere in Faith

19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

What a beautiful verses! If we draw near to God and have a sincere heart and have full faith then we will see how God works blessings in our life. Use everyday as a way to fully grow closer to God. The most important in our relationship with God is to have full faith in Him. Also pray every day to make sure that your heart is and stays sincere.

Amen!
