Daily word 30 March 2015 – Romans 5:14-15

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 30 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Romans 5:14-15, which says:

14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam,1 who was a pattern of the one to come.2 15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,3 how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ,4 overflow to the many!

When Jesus died at the cross for the sins of all humans, it also ended the reign of death on earth. Sin may have come into the world by one man, but it was an even greater man (Jesus) that defeated it and brought us grace!

Daily word 29 March 2015 – Isaiah 46:9-10

Daily word for 29 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Isaiah 46:9-10, which says:

9 Remember the former things,1 those of long ago;2 I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.3 10 I make known the end from the beginning,4 from ancient times,5 what is still to come.6 I say: My purpose will stand,7 and I will do all that I please.

Know that God is unique and that no is the same or can even measure up to Him. Also when you want to be encouraged in your faith about God, just look back in the Bible, but also in your own life all that God has done. God has a plan for your life and He will carry it out, but you also have to allow Him to work in and through you.

Daily word 28 March 2015 – Colossians 3:12-14

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 28 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Colossians 3:12-14, which says:

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves1 with compassion, kindness, humility,2 gentleness and patience.3 13 Bear with each other4 and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.5 14 And over all these virtues put on love,6 which binds them all together in perfect unity.7

As a Christian it is very important to love. When you act out of love, then your action will be a lot different then others will, because you have decided to honor God by not letting negative emotions control you. God wants us to be different from the worldly ways, by being compassionate, kind, humble, gentle and patient. You will see that by having these character trades that it is not only a blessing to your own life, but also to others.

Daily word 27 March 2015 – Mark 16:17-18

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 27 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Mark 16:17-18, which says:

17 And these signs1 will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;2 they will speak in new tongues;3 18 they will pick up snakes4 with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on5 sick people, and they will get well.”

These verses should indeed encourage us to grow more and more in faith. As long as we tend to think according to the rules of this world, then we will stay limited in what we are able to do as Christians. As soon as we put all our trust on God, then we can rest on the fact that God is almighty and nothing is impossible for Him … also for us to do miracles in His name.

I pray to God that everyday we will grow more and more closer to God and also to be able to do these works in His name.

Have a beautiful and very blessed weekend!

God bless!

Daily word 26 March 2015 – Psalm 130:3-4

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 26 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Psalm 140:3-4, which says:

3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?1 4 But with you there is forgiveness;2 therefore you are feared.3

These verses shows how much God loves us. God has every right to keep a record of all our sins, but because of His endless love for us, He decides not to do so! Where we on earth have the tendency to also remind the bad things of each other and even to hold it against that person, God decides not to do so.

I am so thankful to God that His forgiveness is upon us, so we can rest on the assurance that He not only loves us, but that He is more then willing not to hold our past sins against us, when we repent them to Him and grow closer to Him.

Amen!

Daily word 25 March 2015 – 1 John 1:5

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 25 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from 1 John 1:5, which says:

Walking in the Light

5 This is the message we have heard1 from him and declare to you: God is light;2 in him there is no darkness at all.

When we walk with Christ, then we no longer have to walk in the darkness, but will walk in the light …. as God is light. Never mistake the world to bring the light in your life, because as long as the Lord has not come again, then it will darkness that will be here. Trust only on the Lord!

Daily word 24 March 2015 – Philipians 1:21

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 24 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 1:21, which says:

21 For to me, to live is Christ1 and to die is gain.

When you really make a commitment to God to follow Him and to believe in Him, then the first step should be to stop conforming to this world. Therefore God wants us to die from this world and to be reborn in His image. Don’t think that the way the world wants you to be is good in the eyes of God. Let the Holy Spirit change you to walk the way God wants you to walk and you will see that it will change you in a very good way!

Daily word 23 March 2015 – Proverbs 9:8

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 23 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Proverbs 9:8, which says:

8 Do not rebuke a mocker1 or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.2

This is a wise lesson. Not only for us when we are in the situation to rebuke someone. Don’t be around mockers, because they will not be open to correction. They will even resent you for telling them the truth. Also as Christians we need be the wise man and be open to correction/critics from others. See it as a way that God can teach you certain things (and ask God for guidance to accept and learn from the critic of others). Never hate someone just because they are giving you some feedback. See it as a way to grow!

Daily word 22 March 2015 – Ephesians 3:20-21

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 22 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Ephesians 3:20-21, which says:

20 Now to him who is able1 to do immeasurably more than all we ask2 or imagine, according to his power3 that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.4

God deserves all our praise, because not only will He help us and listen to us. No, He will do even more for the one that truly believe and have faith. As a Christian we should know that He is the Almighty and can do anything. And all He does deserves our praise.

Daily word 21 March 2015 – 2 Corinthians 4:7

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 21 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from 2 Corinthians 4:7, which says:

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay1 to show that this all-surpassing power is from God2 and not from us.

Know that anything that you realize is due to the power of God. Do not think that your treasures in your life (your blessing) are the result of you own power. No, it is by Gods power. Always praise God for the blessings in your life (and those to come). And always trust on the Lord and not on your own strength.
