Daily word for 9 February 2016 – Philippians 3:20-21

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 3:20-201 (NIV):

20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Although we are living on earth, we should never consider us citizen of this world, but know that we are blessed to be citizens from heaven. For this reasons God transforms our bodies from earthly bodies to be like His glorious body. We cannot transform ourselves, but need the Holy Spirit to grow more and more towards God.

God bless you all!

Daily word 10 July 2015 – Galatians 5:24

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 10 July 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

After 2 weeks of absence I today sent you a new daily word. Today I want to encourage you with the words from Galatians 5:25, which says:

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

Choosing to life you life according to Gods word, will also mean that you belong to Christ Jesus. Belonging to Him means that you are open to His passion and desire. And this is so strong that you will only want to throw of your sinful nature. Jesus Christ and a sinful nature don’t mix, so always choose for Jesus Christ in your life. And you will see the blessings that will come from that choose.

Amen!

Daily word 24 June 2015 – Hosea 6:1-3

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 24 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Hosea 6:1-3, which says:

Israel Unrepentant

1 “Come, let us return1 to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces2 but he will heal us;3 he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.4 2 After two days he will revive us;5 on the third day6 he will restore7 us, that we may live in his presence. 3 Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains,8 like the spring rains that water the earth.9

God is the only one that truly loves you and all He promises, He will let come to pass in your life. In everything you do, you can rely on God to heal your wounds and bring you where you need to be. The world can often let you down, but God will never let you down!

Daily word for 23 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 4:13, which says:

13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength.1

When you put your trust and faith fully on God, then you will see that nothing is impossible. This is because God will guide you and show you the right steps to take. Start trusting on God and not your own understanding.

Daily word 22 June 2015 – Romans 4:3-5

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 22 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Romans 4:3-5, which says:

3 What does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”a1 4 Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift,2 but as an obligation. 5 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.3

There is a difference in the reward we get, when we work and when we trust on God. When you work your employer is obliged to pay you your wage. It is not a gift from the good of her heart! When we decide to trust on God, then all we will get is gift from God. God will reward your faith in Him.

Daily word 21 June 2015 – Isaiah 65:24-25

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 24 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

24 Before they call1 I will answer;2 while they are still speaking3 I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb4 will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox,5 but dust will be the serpent’s6 food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,”7 says the LORD.

God always listens to us. He sees our needs, He knows our troubles, He knows everything we go through and He cares and loves us very much. Although we life together with people that don’t love and follow God, God protects and us and will make sure that we are blessed to come to Him and does that do not follow Him, will not get the same blessings.

Daily word 20 June 2015 – Galatians 5:13-14

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 20 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Galatians 5:13-14, which says:

13 You, my brothers, were called to be free.1 But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful naturea;2 rather, serve one another3 in love. 14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”b4

God gave us a free will to make decisions for ourselves. This right He gave us, does not mean that we should abuse that right. God wants us to show love to others, the way we want to be loved ourselves. Don’t think our free fill gives us also the freedom to sin.

Daily word 19 June 2015 – Matthew 18:19-20

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 19 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Matthew 18:19-20, which says:

19 “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you1 by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”2

In these verses God shows how important it is for us Christians to be together. God will hear your voice when you are praying alone, but when you pray together then it will have more power in it. So pray everyday with your spouse and children. And pray with other Christians. God is listening!

Daily word 17 June 2015 – 1 John 3:16-17

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 17 June 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from 1 John 3:16-17, which says:

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.1 And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.2 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him,3 how can the love of God be in him?4

Jesus showed the most beautiful and amazing example what love is. He laid down His life for us. God expects us also to have a loving heart and lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If you are able to help someone in need and you decide not to, how can you expect to be blessed by Gods love? Please take every chance to show your love to others and help them.
