Daily word for 25 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from 1 John 1:5, which says:

Walking in the Light

5 This is the message we have heard1 from him and declare to you: God is light;2 in him there is no darkness at all.

When we walk with Christ, then we no longer have to walk in the darkness, but will walk in the light …. as God is light. Never mistake the world to bring the light in your life, because as long as the Lord has not come again, then it will darkness that will be here. Trust only on the Lord!

Daily word 24 March 2015 – Philipians 1:21

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 24 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Philippians 1:21, which says:

21 For to me, to live is Christ1 and to die is gain.

When you really make a commitment to God to follow Him and to believe in Him, then the first step should be to stop conforming to this world. Therefore God wants us to die from this world and to be reborn in His image. Don’t think that the way the world wants you to be is good in the eyes of God. Let the Holy Spirit change you to walk the way God wants you to walk and you will see that it will change you in a very good way!

Daily word 23 March 2015 – Proverbs 9:8

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 23 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Proverbs 9:8, which says:

8 Do not rebuke a mocker1 or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.2

This is a wise lesson. Not only for us when we are in the situation to rebuke someone. Don’t be around mockers, because they will not be open to correction. They will even resent you for telling them the truth. Also as Christians we need be the wise man and be open to correction/critics from others. See it as a way that God can teach you certain things (and ask God for guidance to accept and learn from the critic of others). Never hate someone just because they are giving you some feedback. See it as a way to grow!

Daily word 22 March 2015 – Ephesians 3:20-21

Daily word for 22 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Ephesians 3:20-21, which says:

20 Now to him who is able1 to do immeasurably more than all we ask2 or imagine, according to his power3 that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.4

God deserves all our praise, because not only will He help us and listen to us. No, He will do even more for the one that truly believe and have faith. As a Christian we should know that He is the Almighty and can do anything. And all He does deserves our praise.

Daily word 21 March 2015 – 2 Corinthians 4:7

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 21 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from 2 Corinthians 4:7, which says:

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay1 to show that this all-surpassing power is from God2 and not from us.

Know that anything that you realize is due to the power of God. Do not think that your treasures in your life (your blessing) are the result of you own power. No, it is by Gods power. Always praise God for the blessings in your life (and those to come). And always trust on the Lord and not on your own strength.

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Ezechiel 36:25-27, which says:

25 I will sprinkle1 clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse2 you from all your impurities3 and from all your idols.4 26 I will give you a new heart5 and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone6 and give you a heart of flesh.7 27 And I will put my Spirit8 in you and move you to follow my decrees9 and be careful to keep my laws.10

Beautiful verses that very clearly show how God will change your life. Accepting Christ will bring a change in your heart, that will really be a blessing to you and others around you!

Daily word 19 March 2015 – Galatians 3:24-26

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 19 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Galatians 3:24-26, which says:

24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christa1 that we might be justified by faith.2 25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.3 of God 26 You are all sons of God4 through faith in Christ Jesus,

First God gave us the law as a way to come to Him. When God saw that we are unable to follow the full extent of His Law, God showed his mercy by giving us faith as a way to come to Him. When Jesus died at the cross for our sins, it also gave way for us to Him by faith and not by the law.

Daily word 17 March 2015 – Romans 12:2

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 17 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Romans 12:2, which says:

2 Do not conform1 any longer to the pattern of this world,2 but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.3 Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is4–his good, pleasing5 and perfect will.

Choosing to follow God needs to bring change in the way you walk in your life. As soon as you decide to follow Him, then you should not (not even desire) to follow the patterns of the world, but let God renew you mind and follow His guidance. And this world will continuously try to alter your way of thinking. A good example is the way the world is really pushing to accept homosexuality, where God (in the Bible) has made it very clear that it a sin. However the world is pushing us to accept it as normal. How difficult it sometimes be, stay strong and don’t conform to this world! God will bless you for it!

Daily word 18 March 2015 – Isaiah 44:21-22

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 18 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Isaiah 44:21-22, which says:

21 “Remember1 these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel.2 I have made you, you are my servant;3 O Israel, I will not forget you.4  22 I have swept away5 your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return6 to me, for I have redeemed7 you.”

Know that it is God that made you and already had a plan for your life even before you were born. Also know that what God has done (and keeps on doing). He will sweep away your sins and redeem you, but come to Him with a repentant heart!

Daily word for 16 March 2015 – James 1:25

Daily encouraging word

Daily word for 16 March 2015

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from James 1:25, which says:

25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom,1 and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it–he will be blessed in what he does.2

If you want to be blessed in anything you do, then you need to follow God and look constantly to His perfect law to know which choice to make. Grow towards God more and more (through the Holy Spirit) to be able to hear is voice and to listen to it as well. God wants and will bless you, when you allow Him to.
