Dear brothers and sisters,
First I want to take the opportunity to share with you that today my wife (Cindy) and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary! God thank you for blessing me with my wife and guiding us. Although we certainly didn’t get a free and easy ride, we do know and see how you have and still are there for us and guiding us. I pray that you will bring breakthroughs and blessings in all areas of our lifes!
Today I want to encourage you with the words from Mark 11:25 (NIV):
25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
The act of praying is very simple, because you close your eyes, fold your hands and you can start praying to God. However, know that you cannot just start praying and believe that there is automatically power in your prayer. This verse tells you that before you start praying, you need to make sure that you are not holding anything against anyone, you need to forgive them, so that you may know that your sins are also forgiven before you start praying and that from that moment you also may know that there is power in your prayer.
