Bible study on Romans – Chapter 8

Dear brothers and sisters,

In this bible study on the 8th chapter on the book of Romans we will go through the following:

  • Life through the spirit
  • Present suffering and future glory
  • More than conquerors

Life through the spirit

Know that there is no condemnation for those that are in Jesus Christ, because through Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life  has set us free from the law of sin and death. God sent Jesus to do what the law couldn’t do (because the law was weakened by the flesh). Know that that mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. As long as we are in the real of the flesh, we can never satisfy God. So you need the Spirit of Christ to belong to Christ. You cannot serve to masters, so choose!

If you accept the Christ (and also the Spirit) than you will be child of God and no longer bound by sin. But know you are not forced in anyway and need to make that choice yourself.

Present suffering and future glory

God tells us that how hard our present suffering may be, we must be patient and know that all future blessings will far outway anything that we go through. I pray that we all have the strength throught the Holy Spirit to stay strong and patient and keep our trust and eyes on God.

More than conquerors

Know that if God is for you, than no one can be against you. Because through Him we are more than conquerors. Please keep your trust fully on Him!
