Daily word for 24 April 2017 – Romans 14:9-10

Dear brothers and sisters,

Today I want to encourage you with the words from Romans 14:9-10 (NIV):

9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.

God does not allow us to judge or have contempt for each other. Even if we feel the other is wrong or think that we are better than him or her. Guess again! We are all sinners and therefore no better then any one else. Know what Jesus has done for you on the cross and know that He never has shown contempt for us, only love. And it is only God that can and will judge. He will also judge then one that does judge others or has contempt for another person.

Life your life according to God! Amen!
